you can hear if anything has been done to em ,,, stands out like a sore thumb beside a stock one ,,, i was doing the tech work at a local track ,, they started saying what a great thing this crate engine thing is ,,, how they're all legal , can't mess with 'em ,,, i told them you can get seal bolts on ebay ,,, they're jaw dropped ,,, and ,, it ain't impossible to get them off and put them back on ,,, good idea ,, bad in practice ,, for every good thing ,, somebody will figure it out ,,, its really a built in defense ,,, because who at most local tracks is gonna put up 5000 to protest an engine ?? i've saw it one time ,,,, so the seal bolts keep the cheater in it as much as the legal guy
