2 degrees could be .030" of clearance. My issue is the lack of stability. You also have spark timing to keep in mind. I use a lot of Liberty sets with the adjustable billet gears. Even they are loose in short order. I have been changing out just the chain and the new chain fits nice. So the chain is at least part of the problem. They usually start out nice.
Back when it was a Dynagear set they were awesome.
Where do I buy the chain that Dynagear used???
