Pistons pull about twice the G’s at TDC as compared to BDC in your engine.
You might want to consider that FACT.
There is always an “imbalance” unless your connecting rods are 10 feet long.

Something I've never been quite clear in my understanding of is just what people mean by two or three percent overbalanced. I get the feeling that some are calculating their bobweight in the conventional 50% recipricating / 100% rotating fashion and then adding 2% to that total number. On the other hand, some are adding the extra two or three percent to the recipricating number only. What exactly is meant by two percent overbalanced?
