Anyone have a picture of a Pontiac Super Duty 4 cylinder?

Post by user-9274568 »

I need a photo of the front of a KRP or Pontiac Super Duty Block. Also the 2.5R block is the same. I'm mainly needing the front main area, around both sides of the timming chain. If someone has a block, I'd REALLY appreciate a photo.

THANKS
Chad

WOW! Which book is this, I need to get it. I think the front shot is a OEM block, is there a better shot of the SD block? I'm mainly concerned with the bolt holes on the front of the block. That's way cool, I've been looking high and low for something like this, THANKS A MILLION!

Chad- I don't have a hard copy of that book but do have on computer without internet access in a PDF file but is too big to save and send. On page 26 I think in mine is a detailed schematic of the front of the block (and other views with dimensions). Perhaps Larry could scan that for you. That book is out of print as far as I know as I have tried to get one. I can print it and send to you if you like. PM or email me an address.

Gerry at KRP Kansas Racing Products can answer your questions. They make the Severe duty blocks there. They do alot of things with these blocks to meet different needs.........dry sumps, types of accessories, ect. The ones I've seen will work but if you have a rule they will notice it. The mains in those stock blocks are sure junk.
