- '67 Firebird, 400 Pontiac, this motor evolved a bunch and had many incarnations along the way with various carburetors, porting on 670 heads, 11:1 comp., Victor Pontiac intake stock then extensively modified, thermal barrier and dispersant coatings, hyd. flat 250 / 250, .550ish" on a 108 lca then 228 / 235, .540" on a 112 lca, street / strip, 750 dp; 850 dp; 1000 HP; 1050 HP 1.70" dia. venturi
- '71 El Camino, 396, oval port heads ported, 250ish solid flat, single plane, 12:1 comp., 3800 stall / trans break, drag, 750 mildly modified by another (bogger); 1.50" dia. venturi 900 (yanked the tires full weight but for fiberglass hood)
