Wow! What RPM for peak power & torque, and what do those carbs flow? (On second thought, maybe you better not say. If BOZ over in Perth and Troy in California get wind of it, you could be caught in the cross-fire...) :)
Bill you have taken my comments way out of context, i dont have a problem with those size carbs at all in that application. :)

I doubt that I'm the only one thinking this but I'll only speak for myself. Let it go, dude! I'm growing quite sick of your attacks. If you don't like TMP Carbs, it's pretty simple. Don't buy one!
i take it back, hows that? :)

personaly ive found the 950hp to be a dissapointing carb after all the hype when it first came out. alot of people were mislead into thinking it flowed 950cfm. some good marketing strategy there.

Me also. When it was introduced, I was still working from the point of view high velocity - fast air speed was "obviously" the avenue to fast response and good power. I wasn't looking at it from the point of view of cylinder filling, just carburetor optimization #-o

Currently what has run best on my 496 high compression bracket race engine is a 1250 Dominator on Methanol. I build and sell them. They flow about 1450 dry on the bench I use. I know, 1250 should be too big for a 496. So the "experts" say. LOL.
