Early V-16 Dragsters
In the past two engine combinations were designed and built. Anyone know how they solved the coupling between the in series motors? Was it one common crankshaft between the blocks or an actual coupler or flex joint? I have seen pictures but never understood the linkage and balancing bond. And are they still showing up at the Salts? Thanks.

twin engines
Check out a tractor pull competition. They hook up to six engines typically blown Chevys or hemis into one package. Tim Engler was and still is involved in the engineering and fabrication of the coupling and gearboxes. I will see if I can track down his number.
