Can you use a shot blaster to clean?

Alun heads or alun intakes? Bolts? I use medium cast iron shot and clean heads & blocks fine.I just wondered what other parts i could clean with it?

It would not be my first choice & definitely not with steel shot. I use Stainless shot only in my airless blaster for cast iron heads & blocks as it does a much better job without leaving so much crap behind.
To me standard steel shot just makes a huge mess.

I use soda for most aluminum that needs blasting but glassbead works very well as long as you are real sure you get it all out & it is much more aggressive.
