Has anybody heard anything from Larry since Rita? Kinda concerned, Havent seen him around. Hope all is well.

I have personally spoken to Larry. Everything is OK. His shop did not get any rising water, but many areas not so far away from his shop recieved 10 - 20 ft. storm surge.

I Saw the Abbeville Sheriff on the national news after Rita.

Larry M has crossed my mind many times since.

my Shop/Dyno Room floor is 11 Feet above sea level
my House next door is 13 Feet above sea level

i know that doesn't sound like much above sea level,
but thats actually high enough in my area to have
no known records of any flooding.

Abbeville's about 3.5 miles southeast of me,
and the flooding started about 5-6 miles southeast of me,
and again 10+ miles to southwest of me,
i had friends who lost their Homes and many had water damage.
