Prof Products Intake

Post by highVE »

I am building a 355ci drag engine for a customer. nothing fancy he would be happy w/500-525hp. It's more of a budget piece. anyway, he brout a long to the shop a racing manifold by prof. products. it's more or less a knock off super victor. Big plenum volume. could be to much for the engine as he will only turn 6800rpm. I did port the intake, and it don't look to bad. i would have preffered a brodix hvh myself. but does anyone know how these things perform? do they make any power at all? Thanks

I'm using one on my mild bracket 355. I'm making power between 5200 and 7000. The intake works fine, for the money it's hard to beat. The only work I did to it is blending of the turn just before the port meets the head.
