engine coating ?

Post by Walline »

I am considering coating my pistons and valves for my new blower combo. I have never used coatings before, and while coating the piston and valves I understand, how can coating the combustion chamber help detination? If it helps keep heat in the chamber, how can this help detination. What am I missing? I know there is more to it the meets the eye. Thanks :?:
