SBC Pro Action 14 degree heads
I have a pair of these cast iron 14 degree heads "as cast" from Pro Action. The date on these heads is is 2001. The flow sheets that came with the heads show @ 28.0"
0.100 = 71.64
0.200 = 141.93
0.300 = 216.26
0.400 = 278.94
0.500 = 321.03
0.600 = 344.76
0.700 = 349.69
0.100 = 58.79
0.200 = 108.58
0.300 = 159.78
0.400 = 205.30
0.500 = 226.64
0.600 = 235.64
0.700 = 246.08
I think the port is somewhere in in the 240 ish range - not sure. The ports are very high and the chamber is very shallow - mid 40's I think. Takes a standard 18 degree header but doesn't look like an 18 degree intake would work.
Does anyone work on these cast iron heads or do I have a pair of boat anchors here?

You can use an 18 degree intake on them but you will need to make spacers to raise the intake ports and align with the water jackets. There still are some Pro Action intakes floating around for these heads. They are still an awesome head and RHS is supposed to be producing them again this year according to a PRI video I seen. Are they For Sale? How much?

I don't think the demand is there for them to produce them. I have 1 of 3 sets made by RHS about 2yrs ago. To bad nice looking head. If somone needs a set PM me.SMITHBERGRACING wrote:You can use an 18 degree intake on them but you will need to make spacers to raise the intake ports and align with the water jackets. Re: SBC Pro Action 14 degree heads
if its just water passages that wont line up , i wonder if the smokey yunick kit by moroso that taps the water at the front of the head would work for these ?? you would have to block the water outlet in the head ,, shouldn't be too much to do that , ,,
maybe you could weld up the water inlet to the 18* intake , and modify it to fit that head ,,,
