Valve seat cutter questions

Post by RedRacer »

Does anyone know where I can find the Serdi (or other) seat cutter numbers for touching up Pro Topline cylinder heads? More specifically the cast iron 200cc heads they used to (or still do) sell? thanks.

Newen tip p.n. FT-069B-HP is right for the Intake I think. (That's a Goodson part number. I haven't got the actual tip here, but you will be able to track one down with that number).
I'm not 100% sure on the exhaust, but FT-003B-HP should get you by.
You can also buy the tips from Pro Topline.

They are now marked under RHS cylinder heads part of Comp Cams.

Here is the number from serdi for the intake cutter #027305 45-1 L

I did not have the ex. made so i would have to send you the print.

These are the cutter numbers from Pro YBI-680

Ex.YBI-680

Intake is YBI-591.

I called all the cutter makers and no one could cross it over and the guy i talked to at Pro could not tell me were they were made.

That cutter number(that ozrace)has they use on the 18 deg stuff that Ron Hutter came up with. Its in the weld tech catolog

If you are looking for the specific angles for a 23 degree head I know some of them use a 33/45/56/75. A sunnen VSC9 04045 works very well on the exhaust.
