What do camshaft companies take into consideration when selecting a Valve spring for a given application? What are the basic functions of seat and open pressures in a Spring? When are higher seat pressures required? When are higher open pressures required? If anyone has any examples , or thoughts or opinions they would like to share, I would love to hear them.
