I reccomend the op looking into running a fuel supply setup that includes a return line to combat fuel perculation. I run a fuel system like that using 93 swill and have no problems- using a Robbmc 1100 mechanical pump, aprox 650 horse poncho.

Had BG stuff at the dealer where I was wrenching. The writers would get spiff money put on their cards for what they'd sell. Had a car that needed front-rear brakes, got sold a brake flush instead. All kinds of bs went on.

3 minutes may not be a long enough timing out period, let it go 10-15 minutes to be sure. 30-50 milliamps is about max for that vehicle. Good luck on it.

I would take a fuel sample in a Gatorade bottle and let it sit awhile.
If that passes do a coil output test to see how healthy- long a spark .

I have not done that yet. I have checked it while priming the motor on the engine stand though and it's almost 2 qts.

I got it from McMaster Carr I believe. It's mainly a oil level- temp sight glass for a hydraulic tank for various types of machines. They make insulated pliers, it's a quick way to find a weak dead hole. You can also use a test light,ground the clamp lead- lube the probe with dielectric grease and go between the boot and plug wire on the distributor end of the wires. Just trying to help.
