Re: spring locaters

Thanks again for the replies manleys locators fit without any mods the other companies didn't show listings for the thinner parts I'm using a comp cam617 int and a 593 exh with a brian tooley sk001s dual platinum spring kit. Manley drop ships from nj so I should have parts today.

spring locaters

I'm doing a spring install on an Ls style head, the springs call for an installed height of 1.780. I can only get 1.740 I tried a +.050 keeper but there isn't enough valve tip left showing. My question is, does any one know of a thinner than.060 valve spring locater?

Re: Oval Track Dizzy… Locked Advance or Not?

Don't forget to check the rules, at my track they take the cap off and see if the advance mech move 10* they use a gauge to measure. We use GM HEI by rule.

cam grind

I've got a cam out of a BBC, Hydraulic, or flat tappet, grind # 951815 on the rear of the cam with no other markings. Does the # look familiar to anyone? Or does anyone have an idea what company to start with.? :?

BOLTS

I would try SPS bolts they were a big supplier of repackage and resupply back in the 80's and 90's . They might be able to help. They were high grade stuff.
