Re: Rheumatoid Aithritis?

You may want to dig pretty deep into autoimmune disease as the underlying cause. I've been dealing with it for over a decade now and I've seen many times in my studies how RA is a symptom of it. Something, food allergy, leaky gut, low-grade but long-winded viral, bacterial, fungal infection... some...

Re: Rheumatoid Aithritis?

UPDATE: Well, it's gone down hill from the last update?? On the night of June 23rd I noticed some subtle changes in my night vision here in the house? So the next day I went looking online for reasons for it and it came back to the Plaquenil that I had started taking on June 11th. I also ran across...

Re: Are you an old timer.

What's crazy is how a guy in his 40s seems like an old timer to teenage kids now. You guys are on a whole different planet! :D I've got a few, but with a different tone; If you have work ethic, you might be an old timer. If you have a paid off car, you might be an old timer. If you've been married t...

Strange. I had a shingles flare when I was 19! Then Crohn's shortly after.

Re: Which one of these combustion chambers you like the best

If nothing else, #3 looks like it would take good care of the intake charge as compared to the others.

Re: Friction Torque

I was able to get very low TQ numbers, like 15 ft lbs to break it loose and 10 or 11 ft lbs to keep it going. (4.170 x 3.875 drag motor)

Re: How Much Air Speed is To Much?

Well there is several thing's to look at or try. Short side might need some work, widen the "Mouth" or width of the short turn(at the floor), the chamber & Valve job can help as well. What is the Throat % or width? What is the fps reading in the center of the port? (about an inch befo...

Re: Connecting Rods again??...........Really??

FWIW, one of the (H beam of course) Carrillos in my 495" BBC was bent enough just below the wrist pin when I got the engine that the deck height was + 0.015" at the flywheel end and -0.005" at the front. No marks on the piston. As Smokey said of the forces that cause pins locks to be...

Re: Titauim valves on cast iron seats

They will work fine on iron seats. It has been done for years. At freshen up time they will not look as good as heads with copper seats. The valve jobs will definitely last longer and look better with the copper seats. You can have seats made to any dimension you want. X2 They will work. I ran tita...
