Re: TBI style EFI on big HP engines
...I come up with approximately $2k for a comparable Fitech unit that will support 1200 hp. (Unit, Command Center, High PSI Pump, etc) I've used FITech before, and I will vouch that they put out a very nice, user friendly product. Hands down the easiest fuel injection system I've ever installed. Th...

Re: TBI style EFI on big HP engines
Keep your big carb and install an Electronic Carb Injection system. K&N will debut this product for race engines at PRI. Preview: https://www.tapatalk.com/groups/racingfuelsystems/electronic-carburetor-injection-eci-t1602.html This sounds pretty cool. I missed SEMA. Anyone have any pics of what...

Re: TBI style EFI on big HP engines
Heres the issue dont buy into 1200hp unit.. its that they are self learning.. no two engines are the same at that level..auto and stick make a big diference on what unit will work..And is work is all you want then maybe.. get the sportsman unit and do your own tune..in the long run you will love it...

Re: TBI style EFI on big HP engines
The 1200 kit won't support 1200 hp without boost. Throttle body only flows 850cfm max. The 1200hp kit I was looking at has 2 tb's to make 1200 NA hp. The first 1200 kit you were talking about was FITechs 1200 power adder. That won't handle 1200 N/A. A dual kit to support 1200 is doable, but I'll e ...

Re: TBI style EFI on big HP engines
Dual throttle bodies shouldn't have any problem making 800 hp. Might be hard to find a single throttle body that is big enough and has enough injector to handle 800 hp. I'm working on a 482 inch Ford FE where we will be using dual FAST throttle bodies on a tunnel wedge type of intake. We're not goi...

TBI style EFI on big HP engines
Has anyone tried using a carb replacement EFI system on a high HP engine? I've used the FI Tech system on an essentially stock 390 and it worked great, but what about one of the FI Tech (or any other brand) systems for a big block with a projected output of 750-800 fwhp? I've read that for all out N...

Re: Whiteperfomance1 & Assault Racing - heads any good???
Would you care to share your nationality and give us some reasons why you are better than the Chinese or why we should accept your premise about their capability of production? I know you’re not talking to me, but I’m from ‘Murica! I own a Chinese TV, a Chinese TIG welder that is far more advanced ...

Re: Whiteperfomance1 & Assault Racing - heads any good???
Several years back there were some crankshafts going around that were so Chinese the even the paper work said things like "This crink shoe be labalnced before use" but they were actually straighter and more consistent on the journals than the Eagle that had been around for a decade. A lot...

Re: Whiteperfomance1 & Assault Racing - heads any good???
It would be better for them to deal with a company like chad that uses them and can stand behind them vs just buying a set off of the interweb... hehe, this reminded me of this: Today, we salute you, Mr. Used Car Lot Auto Salesman.... You stand behind every car that you sell. Because if you stood i...

Re: Whiteperfomance1 & Assault Racing - heads any good???
I did some research on the whiteperformance1 BBC heads when I was looking at BBC heads, and the best I was able to come up with is that they are the same castings as the other "offshore" BBC heads, they just receive them bare and do their own final machining and installation of valvetrain ...

Re: MSD won't repair there own products
Don't get me wrong, I've got no issue with China. I like their stuff. Moo Goo Gai Pan, Mu Shu Pork, Chinese Checkers, and various engine parts. I was just posing a question more than anything.
