Re: Cam Break In
gibbs guy was right on the money. we break in for 30 min at 2000-3000rpm. change the filter after that, then use the break in oil for one night of racing.

I just pulled the motor and looked at a few exhaust valves and about 3 of them are black sort of oily but the motor doesnt burn oil. from what i remember it was number 1,3,4. motor ran fine last time we ran it no smoke or anything but this has been my problem motor that wouldnt rev over 6000rpm.

Re: EPA going after hi performance chips
i got about 3 mpg extra using a 50hp tune on one of those tuners. as far as tearing stuff up they will definitely do it especially on the outrageous tunes they put out on some of them. saying they will make an extra 200 hp. little extreme to pull a 5000 lb trailer.

i would probably go with number 2 out of those choices. that is very close to what is in my car for 3/8th mile tracks.

Re: cambered rearend
i agree 100 percent with your staggering. i always measure new tires to see which is the biggest figure out where i will use each one then if i need more stagger put air in it and sit it in the sun. an inch or so can be made that way.
