After you shut it off, look down into the carb and see if its leaking around the squirters.

Caltracs or similar. I'm using Slide a link bars, 90 454SS. Best 60 ft so far 1.49 and 11.09 ET.

Yes you can. Can't see it in this pic, but I have one hose from the heater core to the water pump and the other heater hose to the intake.

Fwiw, I have read that a normal HEI can be used with the tbi and can make for an improvement. I have also read that checking fuel pressure is a must. Experts claim that even 1/2 psi can make a marked difference. You need an adapter fitting to check it. Not sure if this one is the correct adapter......

Need to scan it. May need IAC passages cleaned. CTS and TPS could also be culprits.
